I'm athiest and I say "oh my god" a lot. It's just like saying oh no or holy cow. To me at least.
If they don't believe that he is the son of God than really they are just exclaiming the name of a random historical figure."Albert Einstein!"
Well, as an athiest I too say Jesus Christ and/or Oh My God! So it probably is as random as if I said Albert Einstein! Although I think I'm more inclined to say Voltaire!
Or Voldemort!
