Boo Hoo Hoo

I can't think of a reason why I would ever attend a candlight vigil for anything. What good are they anyway?

I only did that once and it was right after 9/11. It was the coast to coast candlelight vigil and was pretty cool because it brought so many strangers together (which never happens in LA). Except for the one moron who complained to us because cars were honking as they passed us by and it was keeping someone up. This was seven freaking o'clock! Thousands had just died and I think someone can afford to fall asleep a little bit later.

I was just walking home when the coast-to-coast candlelight vigil for 9/11 was happening. It was cool to see people out on the sidewalks or their porches all the way home.

Otherwise, I think they're a bloody waste. Unless you're a candle-seller. But we don't have candle-sellers, per se, in this country. That's why we have dollar stores and Costco.
